Inside the room

Huntington Beach, CAOpening Soon. Here's exactly what you're walking into, so the first time isn't the hard part.

Two fighters face to face before the first bell

[ The standard ]

Trained properly, from the first day.

[ 01 / Your First Day ]

Step by step

The honest version. No mystery, no hazing, no being thrown in at the deep end.

  1. 01

    Turn up early

Get there ten minutes before. Someone will meet you at the door, show you round, and point you at the changing rooms. You won't be left standing there.

  2. 02

    Wrap your hands

No wraps? We'll lend you a pair and show you how. Gloves too. You don't need to own a single piece of kit to take your first class.

  3. 03

    Warm up with the room

Skipping, shadow boxing, and mobility. This is where you stop feeling like the new person — everyone's doing the same thing.

  4. 04

    Learn one thing properly

A coach breaks down the technique of the day and you drill it slowly with a partner. Quality over volume. Nobody is trying to take your head off.

  5. 05

    Hit the pads

Rounds on the pads with a partner or coach. This is the part everyone remembers — the first time it actually connects the way it should.

  6. 06

    Leave knowing why

We finish with what you drilled and what to work on next. Then you come back and do it again. That's the whole system.

[ 04 / Questions ]

Before you ask

I've never trained before. Is that a problem?

It's the opposite of a problem — the Beginner class exists for exactly this. Most people walk in having never thrown a punch. You'll be shown the fundamentals slowly and you will not be thrown into sparring.

Do I need to be fit first?

No. This is the thing that gets you fit. You work at your own pace, and every class scales — nobody is checking whether you can finish the round.

Will I have to fight or spar?

Only if you choose to, and only when a coach thinks you're ready. Plenty of members train for years purely for the skill and the fitness and never take a fight.

What do I need to bring?

Water and clothes you can move in. We'll lend you wraps and gloves while you get started, so there's no kit to buy before your first class.

How old do kids need to be?

The kids program is built for school-age children and teens, with sessions grouped by age and stage. Register your interest and we'll send the details for your child's age group.

When are you opening?

We're finalising the space in Huntington Beach now. Register your interest and you'll be the first to get the opening date, the timetable, and founding-member details.
